The Summer of Visitors
This was our summer of visitors, beginning in May with Molly's friend Phoebe and her mom, Jane (but that's Phoebe and Molly below). We took a quick trip to Bårdsgarden with them.
Then Rick's dad, Lee, and half brother, Kyle, came in early June. We all hiked into Vassensætra, an old seter (summer farm) that is now a self-service hut in Trollheimen. Molly, Kyle and Rick took the hard, snowy way over the mountain while the others took the low road along Gjevilvatnet.
Then Rick's sister Leigh and family came in late June. We went on a special adventure in Rondane National Park with them.

Then we took Rick's stepfather Billy (also affectionately known as Pop) for a quick tour of the Lofoten Islands in July.
And in August, Rick's sister Katesel and her husband Bill dropped in. They did their own tour of southern Norway then came to stay with us for a few days in Trondheim. Rick drove them to Gjevilvasshytta for a one-night stay and a day hike.
